Optimised for small masses. Maximum capacity is 20 g with a minimum increment of 0.001 g. This range makes the scale particularly convenient for handling small quantities of substances where mass changes need to be tracked at the milligram level.
Unlike scales with a higher maximum capacity — 50 g and above, for example — this model is designed specifically for small masses. Raising the maximum capacity normally calls for a less sensitive load cell, so scales rated at 50 g and above may be less sensitive when working with the smallest samples.
